Music Ministry 2

The A/V Team is responsible for manning the audio-visual technology, producing the music, and supporting the flow of the worship service, all at the same time. Members of the A/V ministry run the sound mixer and provide recorded music via Cassettes, Compact Disc and Mini Disc for the worship services and special events. The ministry also provides lighting for conferences, concerts and drama presentations In addition, the A/V ministry operates video projectors for live and pre-recorded video and computer presentations on closed circuit monitors and on our big screens during worship and special events.

Audio/Visual is a behind-the-scenes type of ministry. It usually goes unnoticed until a problem occurs. (In fact, it is said that the best comment the AV crew can receive is none at all!). Nevertheless, this ministry is absolutely essential for the smooth running of the church services.

Teenagers and adults are encouraged to join, especially anyone who has prior experience in graphic design, AV systems, network administration or video editing/animation. Having a technical background is useful, but ultimately no prior knowledge is required since training is hands-on. Please contact the AV Director for details!
